Its robust and resilient solutions as well as inspiring innovations will be on display at Fruit Logistica, the leading meeting place for fresh chain professionals from around the world, in Berlin from 8-10 February 2023. In these uncertain times, it is important to get the basics right. To build a firm foundation for this, Rijk Zwaan consolidates its core strengths: robust, resilient and reliable solutions for fresh vegetables. One example is its range of new tomato varieties with unique high resistance (HR) against the Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV). Another example is Alzamora RZ – a high-quality red pepper variety for greenhouse cultivation that performs exceptionally well, even at lower temperatures. And Rijk Zwaan’s solutions extend beyond varieties alone. The vegetable specialist also secures sourcing strategies by bringing retailers and growers together, for example.
Meanwhile, its online consumer platform Love My Salad provides delicious recipe ideas to help people cook affordable meals containing lots of vegetables. This is just one way in which Rijk Zwaan continues to inspire consumers to make healthy food choices, even during economically challenging times.
